Out of the Darkness
I'm in the darkness
there seems no way out
I've been trapped so long
I feel I'm not allowed
Hard to find the direction
of the light
When many are holding you down
Am I ready for the fight?
I've managed to finally stand
I've been through so much
I have to believe
with all that I am
that I finally can
One foot in front of each other
may take everything I've got
but in the end I'll be a better mother
I've broken free
through much turmoil
so eventually I will see
my own little heaven
that will be better for me
